Mental Health First Aid

The Mental Health First Aid will be of use to anyone who comes into contact with people who may be showing signs of developing a mental health issue. It is particularly useful to those who work in the third sector and for voluntary organisations.

As described by ‘Mental Health First Aid England’ Mental Health First Aid is an educational course which teaches people how to identify, understand and help a person who may be developing a mental health issue. In the same way as we learn physical first aid, Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to recognise those crucial warning signs of mental ill health.

The Turbary Resource Centre sits behind Hope Church on Corbin Avenue, on the Heatherlands Estate, Ferndown, BH22 8AZ
