Christians Against Poverty - There is always hope

With their multiple award-wining free service, CAP Head Office negotiate with creditors to set up payment plans and budgets in line with government guidelines. Our local Debt Coach, Pam Ansell and volunteers, provide a variety of practical and befriending support tailored to the client’s preferences throughout their journey out of debt. People are helped irrespective of their age, gender, faith or background.

It all starts with a free call to 0800 328 0006 where you will speak to a friendly person who will book your first 1-2-1 appointment with Pam. Or for more information please contact Pam Ansell on 07458 395740.

There is always hope.

You can have a thrilling experience and benefit local charities at the same time.

We are raising money to help run activities at the Bus Stop Club and we can say with great conviction that many many families and individuals from the East Dorset area are benefiting in so many ways from the events that we already organise.

If you would like to help raise money and have a head for heights and would love to step over the edge, then use the DONATE button on our website to sign up.

Participants are required to pay a registration fee of £25 to cover costs and should aim to raise at least £100 in sponsorship for either the Beacon Centre at St Mary’s or The Bus Stop Club or to benefit both charities.

How to sponsor us

The event will be managed by fully qualified and insured instructors from Dave Talbot (Adventure Events). Please see attached information regarding their setup Participant Abseil Information 2016.

The Bus Stop Club

End of summer 2014 school year celebration at the Bus Stop Club

The Bus Stop Club recently celebrated their 8th year of supporting families and adults in the East Dorset community areas.

We had an end of school year celebration buffet tea during the CAFF evening Friday session at the Turbary Resource Centre.

We had Ferndown Councillor Jean Read kindly come along to present flowers to each of the staff members who have been working for the Bus Stop Club over the year.

It was a lovely evening – families from the local area came along to join in the festivities, the sun was shining, the food was excellent.

Roll on for another exciting, supportive and activity filled year ahead starting in September 2014 when the children return to school. Not forgetting our planned outings during the summer break of August.
